NAVIGATOR (Class 3-4, Ages 8-9)

Objective: To help students understand and use more tools on Canva, creating designs with greater creativity and refinement.

Modules:

1. Exploring Canva Tools
   • What is Canva? (Short interactive explanation)
   • How to open Canva and navigate the interface.
   • Basic functions: Adding simple text and images.
   • Introduction to Canva’s sidebar (templates, text, elements).
   • Adding background colors and gradients.
   • Exploring font styles and adjusting text alignment.
2. Working with Images
   • Uploading personal images.
   • Cropping and resizing photos.
   • Using Canva’s photo library.
   • Color schemes: Matching colors for design.
   • Fonts: Choosing and customizing text styles.
3. Project Creation
   • Design a “Classroom Poster” for a school event.
   • Design a “Favorite Book Poster.”
   • Incorporate custom fonts, images, and color themes.
